Holy Rod completes the nine-part coprolitic cycle. The golden rod is no longer merely a display support; it has become staff, sceptre, axis mundi, relic-holder and joke at the expense of every solemn vertical symbol. The coprolite turns like a final planet in a very small universe. Episode 9 does not redeem the shit by making it holy. It exposes holiness, power and spectacle as things humans attach to matter when they are desperate for meaning. The opera ends where the body, the museum and the absurd finally coincide.
