Tower of Power turns the coprolite into architecture. It evokes skyscraper, obelisk, monument, corporate logo, patriarchal column and administrative pile. The satire is not subtle: vertical power often consists of compressed deposits, stacked with confidence and lit from below. Episode 5 asks how institutions become tall, how hierarchy acquires polish, and how much civilisation depends on pretending that what rises above us is not made from what passed through us.
